Planning for a safe play

From the 19th of July, our operation has been assessed.

For the time being, we will continue to operate in sessions to allow us to clean between sessions and pay attention to cleaning high frequency touchpoints. We are gradually building back up our capacity but not to 100% just yet.

We encourage everyone over the age of 11 to wear a face covering to comply with government requirements. These do not need to be worn when consuming food or drink at a table but do need to be worn in all other areas. As usual, no picnics, birthday cakes are allowed. Socks must be worn by everyone in the play frame. We have these for sale as well as our new Ninja socks.

We also encourage you to take part in the government track and trace scheme and you will find NHS QR codes and manual forms present.

Play Sessions will need to be pre booked online. This allows us to manage capacity and also clean and sanitise high touchpoints between the next session. Your booking details will then fulfill the requirements for the government track and trace program. Tickets can be booked at https://bookwhen.com/breanplay

Our cleaning regime will continue and attention will be paid to high touch areas between each session. We will also be fogging the play area equipment, seating area and toilets periodically with a protective sanitiser. In addition to floor mopping, we will use a machine to deep clean the floor once a week, more often if required.

Our team has received COVID training and we have lateral flow test kits for them to use. We are encouraging them to wear a face-covering as well as more frequent hand washing and symptom checking at the start of their shift.

Please do not visit if your child or anyone in your household is feeling unwell or has any COVID symptoms, or if you are awaiting a COVID test result or have been told to self isolate.

At reception please state your booking reference and name so we can check you in. You will be asked to sanitise your hands prior to entry.

Parents we will require you to supervise your children at all times and you are welcome to enter the play areas as usual.

Our new ninja course is open on the mezzanine. This is suited to children 7 -11 years. When using the stairs please keep to the left. On the ninja course itself one person per lane, please. Parents, please supervise your children at all times.
