What are your opening hours?Please visit our bookings portal to view current session times.

How much is entry?Entry is based on the age or height of your child. You can see our prices here.

What the age / height restrictions?Our equipment is suited for children 0-11 years in 3 different areas. The maximum height of a child using the equipment in the main area 148cm. Our toddler area is strictly for children 4 & under. Non-playing Children over the height of 148cm are charged at the adult admission rate. The ninja zone is suitable for children between the ages of 7-11 years.

Can I pay by card?Yes, we have card machines at all pay points that accept most major credit cards and contactless payments.

Can I leave and come back in?Exit and re-admission back into Brean Play is not permitted. If you are popping out for a ciggerette providing your child has another adult inside with you, you will have your hand stamped. We are sorry but we do not admit single adults without children to Brean Play. If you are meeting someone please speak to a team member who will arrange for a tannoy announcement.

Do I need to pre-book?Yes all visitors are required to pre book.

What sort of items do you offer?We have a range of items for children and adults. Click here to view our menus.

Do you cater for allergies?We have allergen information in a folder kept at the cafe. Please ask a team member to view the folder if you wish to look at the allergen information for a particular item. Our menu has options for gluten free as well as vegan and vegetarian options.

Can I bring my own food?Unfortunately, we not allow picnics within the venue, with the exception of baby food for babies under 12 months. We have a fabulous cafe that caters for all ages. Also, please NO GLASS. If you have a child with a dietary need that you are not sure if we can cater for please call us in advance on 01278 752123 or email play@brean.com

How do I book a party?You can book in person at Brean play, over the phone by calling 01278 752123 or online where you can check live availability and book and pay securely.

Do you charge for no shows?No providing minimum numbers are met.

What are the parking arrangements for guests attending a party?Car parking is free and we have a large car park. If there is a parking attendant on the car park entrance please show the attendant your party invitation and you will not be charged. If there is no parking attendant. Do not pay for a ticket. Display your party invitation on the desktop and when you check in for the party at Brean Play reception you will be asked to supply your car registration.

If I haven't booked a party can I bring a cake to have at my table?Birthday cake can be brought into the venue (no candles or sparklers please)if you are hosting your own party. On arrival please hand in your cake and we will arrange to bring your cake out at your chosen time.

I live locally is there any discount?If you live in a permanent address within 20 miles of Brean Play you can apply for a free residents pass. This enables you to claim back your car parking fee every time you visit Brean Play or Brean Splash. Simply pay to park and then produce your residents pass when paying for admission then your car parking fee will be refunded. You can also get access to special resident offers from time to time. I'm staying on a holiday park in Brean. Is there any discount?Holiday Resort Unity is part of our business organisation so if you stay with us, you can enter Brean Play for 1/2 price. Please produce your privilege pass at reception.

How do we get to you?Our postcode is TA8 2QY. Follow the Brown signs to Brean Leisure Park. We are located next to Brean Splash Waterpark.

What car parking do you have?There is an all-day car parking fee of £4.50 all day or £3.00 after 3:00pm between March - November.

Do you have baby changing facilities?Yes, we have a dedicated room with plenty of changing space.

Can I breastfeed?Yes, we are a breastfeeding friendly centre and if you would like more privacy, please ask and you can use our first aid room.

Do you have air con?Yes, and heating.

What should children wear?Socks On- Long Sleeves - Trousers To keep the equipment clean socks must be worn by children & adults. No exceptions. If you do not have any - you can buy some from reception. Shoes must be removed and put in a sensible place. Remove all sharp items such as keys, buckles etc as this may damage the equipment. To avoid friction burns we recommend arms and legs are covered.

How do you keep the centre clean?We have a cleaning team who clean the attraction every day, including a cleaning regime for the play areas. You will also see our general staff cleaning tables, sweeping and mopping in general areas. We have a scrubber drier machine that deep cleans floors on a regular basis.

How do I know the centre is safe?We have a controlled entry and exit system in place. Fire exit doors are also alarmed to alert us if opened. Adults may not enter the premises without a child. Please do not be offended if you arrive on your own to meet family who are already in the centre and we ask you to get them to come out and meet you. Our play equipment complies with BS EN 1176 and is independently inspected every 12 months to make sure it is structurally sound and compliant with this standard. Our team also carry out daily checks on the structure to ensure it is safe for use. Soft plays by their nature are designed to encourage children to take risks in a controlled environment.We have at least one member of staff that is trained in first aid. If you see any damage to the equipment please report it to reception immediately.

My child’s been poorly can I still visit?We ask you not to visit if your child is ill. We also ask you to wait more than 48 hours if your child has experienced sickness or diarrhoea before visiting us.

Am I allowed to take photos or videos?We allow pictures to be taken in centre as long as you do not photograph other children in your picture.

Who supervises the children and play equipment?You will be required to sign in upon arrival declaring your intention to supervise your children and to follow our admission and play safe rules. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times (someone over the age of 16) whilst in the attraction. Children must not be left unattended. 1 adult can supervise up to 6 children. NOTE we do not supervise the play areas

Do you offer sessions for SEND children?We welcome everyone with additional needs at all times. We do however appreciate that some children may not be comfortable with a busy environment. We therefore have regular SEND sessions click here to see when our next session is. During the session there is no age restriction within our Ocean World Toddler area. Our quiet room will also be available. There is no need to pre-book this session.

What accessible facilities do you have?We have a disabled toilet downstairs. We have a lift to access the party rooms on the mezzanine and a further disabled toilet on this level. We have disabled car parking spaces located near the entrance. Please display a 'blue badge' Please note a car parking fee applies.

Do you have a quiet room?Yes we do please ask a team member for access. This is available Monday - Friday. On Saturday and Sunday the room is used for birthday parties so may not be available.
